With all the chaos this time many people could be forgiven for thinking that I was crazy even to consider a safari in Zimbabwe, but above that here I'm going on Safari Houseboat on Lake Kariba!

Lake Kariba is very large, the walls of a large dam spans the river Zambezi. It was built between 1955 and 1959 primarily to provide hydroelectric power to the region. This is one of the world's largest dam wall and 128M high and 579m long. But it is nowhere near the best as Lake Kariba is over 220 kilometers long and at some points up to 40 kilometers wide. It covers an area of ​​5580 square kilometers, almost everything in the Zambezi valley contains some of the best known wildlife of Africa. by
